JD FIRST TIME BOWLING - WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!

My husband's good friend Eliz and her husband were in town for the holidays and we decided to meet them or dinner. After dinner we thought we would go bowling. Jd had never been before and we thought he would have alot of fun. Jd has a blast bowling and did really good. However he insisted on holding his bowling ball at all times. It was his turn and he went to go up the step to bowl and trip on the step and fell right on his ball. I knew by the sound of it - it was not gonna be pretty. At first we thought he just cut his finger b/c that was what he was showing us but then we could see that it was his chin and it was bad. We sat him down and put pressure on it. Kids are too funny. He says mommy I feel better can I finish bowling. We look at the cut again and knew we needed to get him to the hospital. Three hours later we learned that he was going to need 4 stitches. My little guy was already gonna need stitches. He was such a sport about it and did great. I think I cried more. It was really hard seeing him go through that. They had promised him a Popsicle when he was done and he made sure he got that Popsicle. Here are some pics from the hospital.
