Today we made Cut out Christmas cookies for the first time. Jd and his buddy Bode had so much fun making them. As you can see in these pictures they were really concentrating on what they were doing. We made snowflakes and Christmas trees and little gingerbread boys. They had the most fun w/ the icing and sprinkles!!

When I was little I remember making Christmas cookies with my Grandma Anne Martin (Brian's great grandma). She was invalid and lived with us. She stirred the dough by hand and rolled them out while we kids cut them out and deocrated. They were the best tasting cookies I ever have and even now (40 years later) I can see the picture clearly.
I cherish those memories...you are making great memories for your boys!
