I just loved this picture of my little guy. He looks so much like his daddy w/ his ball cap on. Too cute!! He is learning to wave and I caught him in the act.
Its been a rough day for me. Actually this past week has been hard. Friday we found out that Braxton is going to need surgery to correct his eyes. We new there was a chance of this from the beginning but still its hard knowing that he has to be put under for the surgery. Dr Magoon said that he is seeing double and his eyes are still crosssing w/ his glasses on. That explains why he was fighting me so much with wearing the glasses. They just weren't doing anything for him. On the up side - there is a chance that with the surgery this could correct his eyes for good - meaning no glasses!! We are suppose to schedule the surgery this week and it should be w/ in the next month or so. I believe they will be doing the surgery at either Aulman or Mercy.
On top of that news I learned today at his appointment w/ his specialist that she wants to start him on Botox. She said he is such a determined child and that he is so close to crawling and wanting to walk that she thinks this will give him just what he needs to do so. It was just hard to hear b/c again he will have to be sedated for this because of his age. Its too painful on young children, I guess the shots burn when they are injected. These shots will be given every 3-6 mths depending on how long they work, every child is different. He will be having these injections done at Akron Childrens.
Its just been rough to hear that my little man has to go through all this. But, I know that the eye surgery and the botox will really help him so much. Please keep him in your prayers!!
