Braxton is now 18 mths ( 16 mths adjusted )

Its hard to believe that my little man is a year and a half already. He had his check up and it went great. He is now 26 lbs 12 oz (60%) and 33.5 inches long (80%). Braxton is talking away and has a vocabulary of over 20+ words. At his last therapy appt his therapist was going over colors and he learned purple, yellow ( his favorite ) and red. I was shocked when he used yellow to refer to the one he wanted w/ out being promted or anything. He still is being a stinker about sitting, he will sit unsupported for around 2 min. I know that is not much but every little be we celebrate with him. We have been working w/ him on walking for about a month now. I finally learned what motivates him to walk. We were at the park and Jd and I were playing soccor. Braxton wanted to join in. So I held him lightly under his arms and helped him kick the ball. He wanted to do it again so much that he pick his feet up and walked 5 steps w/ my support. FINALLY!! It was so exciting. Luckily we had met Brian for lunch that day and we were all at the park together, so Brian got to see it too.
