Braxton got to go to his preschool today. He got to attend his classes Halloween party. You should have seen his face when we entered his room and he saw the toys and the kids. I wish I would had gotten a picture of that. He is very social and was quit excited about being there.
The kids got to go to the Halloween room. Braxton actually rode the tricycle down to the room and had so much fun. They decorated the classrooms with lots of sensory items for the kids to explore and they dimmed the lights and had lots of fun Halloween lights. They put Braxton in his gait traine and let him explore the room. Then on the way back to his classroom he walked in his gait trainer the entire way. Yes I was spying on him. lol But he was doing so good!!
After they explored the Halloween room they had snack time and us parents got to join them. They made cinnamon apples and apparently Braxton loved them. He said to his teacher, " I want more apples". Amanda (his teacher) and the other therapists said they were amazed at his vocabulary. Braxton does love to talk. Wonder where he get that from?? I call him Echo because he repeats the last word of everything that I say.
Braxton got to participate in circle time w/ his classmate. They were singing Twinkle Twinkle little star here and he loved singing along and waving the star. He had to have two stars.
He would clap after each song and would ask for more. Too cute!! He loves to sing songs right now. His favorite is Ittsy Bitsy and his ABC's. All in all they just loved having him in class.
