Tuesday we got some wonderful news. Braxton had a swallow study done at Akron children's. And this will be his last swallow study. As we learned that he is doing great and no longer needs the thickener in his drinks. Which means he can now have a water bottle just like Jd, which he asks for all the time. Perfect timing with as hot as it has been.
While we were there, we also had his fitting for his Swash Brace ( hip brace ). It went as well as expected. It was 3:00 and nap time. So, the combination of it being nap time and the brace being new made for an unhappy little guy. But, I am sure over time he will get used to it. We really hope and pray this brace works for him, so that we can avoid surgery for some time.
